Nuffnang.com is Asia's first and leading blog advertising community. It's an online platform that allows advertisers to serve graphic or video based advertisement on blogs.
Nuffnang.com has been around for 1 year already and it is leaded by Ming and Stewie. They celebrated their 1st anniversary at Borneo Baruk Club on 15th March 2008, together with bloggers from Malaysia and Singapore.
Note: Shame on myself for being not thankful to Stewie.
8th March was Malaysia's 12th general election day. Luckily, I registerd myself at PJ fresh market last year. If not, surely will be scolded by my mum again.
This year was my first year to vote. That morning, I went meeting my mum in fresh market before heading to SJK (c) Pay Fong II. Thought want to go together with mum, but she was busy. So, I went votting alone and she went in the afternoon.
Most of the aunties and uncles in neighbourhood went there 1/2 hour before 5pm. Chinese just can't practice punctuality in any event?
Note: Politic oh politic... There is lots for me to learn.
Still remember the day when you were surprised by falling potato chips in your Friendster? Yes, it was on 6th Sept 2007. Chipster from Danone did its product branding inside Friendster. Danone made the right decision to choose Friendster as Friendster is the No.2 most viewed site by Malaysia.
There were Chipster friendtracker logo, Chipster rectangular ad and don't forget the falling Chipster as background skin. We can even add Chipster as friend. For your information, Chipster was a 19 year old girl. We could send her message, leave her comments and get reply from her. Isn't it interesting for Chipster to be our real friend?
Ever since Chipster be my friend, I can only sleep better with Chipster...

29th Feb was the last day of Feb 2008. I was back to work after 2 days of MC. There would be farewell party for big big boss at Modesto, Sri Hartamas that night.
All the teams were supposed to perform something that night. As usual, everyone will not do anything until the last minutes. Maklumlar, all of us in this line is so busy. We didn't really have the time to practice for the performance. 2 hours before the party began, our boss asked us to stop all our work instantly and think of what to perform later.
At the end, we chose to sing "If I let you go" and change some words inside the lyrics. We combined a few group into a bigger one so that we could perform the same one. I think our group really perform very well that night.
I went for circuit training last Sunday (24th Feb) in Tmn Tasik Perdana KL. It is to get myself be prepared for AmBank KL International Marathon on 30th March. And I fnished 5 laps (2.8km x 5 laps = 14km) in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Thanks to the guy who 'motivated' me on the 3rd lap.
If I were to maintain this speed on race day, I would finish half marathon (21km) in 2 hours and 38 minutes. I have registered myself for half marathon. Gambette, Chek! You can do it.
Due to lack of practicing, I had pain everywhere of my body. And I had to walk from car park to my office in my high heel in 7-8 minutes (I walk quite fast). 7 minutes could finish 1500 metres run already. I do that every working days day and night. Now, I am thinking how to get nearer parking space for free...
Note: AmBank should be written with capital A and B.
I'm a media planner who is responsible to develop a plan that answers the questions: How can the greatest number of people in the targeted group be reached often enough to have the advertising message seen and remembered - and at the lowest possible cost?
Advertising is a business of ideas. It is the magic of the idea that lifts some of the advertisements above the ordinary. Advertising succeeds not because of the amount of budget you invested, but the advertising message that you deliver to the consumers. I like the way advertisement gets into audience’s mind and influence one’s choice. Of course, clients would hope that, advertising can increase their sales and profit, demonstrate return on investment and create brand awareness among their consumers. I like branding and I want to help my clients to build branding in their products or services because the only way we grow is to help our clients to grow.
NOTE: Never ever think of working in media line as it's rush and requires long working hours. Once you step in, it's so hard to let go...
7th Feb (Thu) - Greet mum and receive ang pow. - Stay at home. Watch TV and eat. This year, I won't make myself drunk like last year anymore. I'll always be the cheerful pretty girl.

I went for KL Tower International Forest Towerthon Challenge on 3rd Feb 2008. I had to run 1km uphill and clim 2,058 stairs up the KL Tower. And, I got 77th and my timing is 31 minutes and 9 seconds. Total medal collected till now is 18.
Ok, it's not really a good result. I shall train myself harder for next race. KL International Marathon, you will be seeing me soon.
AsiaMedia Sdn Bhd presented TransNet, its digital signage network in Sime Darby on 29th Jan 2008. It is expected to reach 400,000 RapidKL bus commuters daily in Klang Valley through TransNet.
For bus commuters, TransNet = TV in the Bus.
For advertisers, TransNet = Branding through TV in RapidKL to target RapidKL bus commuters.
Ohmy, so many digital advertisements out there. You could see them at home (TV), cinema (big TV), powerscreen (there is this big one near Bkt Bintang), shopping mall, bus (TransNet), KLIA Express Train, aeroplane, online (You Tube) and now even carrefour and 7-eleven they want to explore.
There was lion dance for the open ceremony too. I managed to get mandarin from the lion as well. 2008 get to be my lucky year again. Yeah!
After watching "An Inconvenient Truth" with all my colleagues in Cathay Cineleisure, my team and I went to have our lunch at Little Penang, the Curve. So lucky that there was lion dance in the Curve and all the lions were playing along the street. I was so excited that I couldn't wait and asked my boss, "Can I touch the lion, can I?"
I ran to one of the lion and touched the head. I know that I shouldn't be acting childish in front of boss, but the lion is soooo cute & most importantly I'll have good luck for the year.
